EACH TIME YOU BUY SURFWEAR FROM THIS SITE WE DONATE 10 % TO ORGANICS |
Our clothing, footwear and accessories are priced at normal high street prices. We don't expect you to pay more to cover the donation. We're putting our hands in our pockets because we think organic cotton is sooo much better than conventionally grown cotton.
This donation goes to Pesticides Action Network who work with farmers helping them to convert to organic methods. It usually takes 3 years for the soil to be certified pesticide free which can be a tricky time for farmers, a time when advice and financial support is a real lifeline.

![]() | Barnabas Paul, is an organic cotton farmer from Benin, West Africa. Speaking on behalf of the 6,000 West African cotton farmers engaged today in organic agriculture, Barnabas explains how organic cotton has transformed his life: "With conventional cotton, I used to have no money left for me or my family once I had paid back my debt to agrochemical suppliers. I also used to go to the hospital every other week when I was spraying pesticides. Now I get to keep all of my profits as I no longer use pesticides. |
Pesticides Action Network UK also works on projects involving organic cotton farmers and fashion students. Their aim is to get the students to work with the organic and fair trade fabrics, and promote a market for products. SOURCE: www.pan-uk.org |
