| Sutsu is a new freesports lifestyle-clothing brand with strong ethical and environmental beliefs. Born from a desire to create a brand that has a positive effect on everything it touches, whether that's the riders wearing the clothes, the workers creating them or the environment that gives us the raw materials. |

Sutsu uses organic materials that are produced in an environmentally and socially conscious way. All their garments come from Fair Trade sources and they support projects like Surfers Against Sewage & Project Blue with their profits. Freesports athletes are an individual breed; often breaking the mould in the pursuit of their goals. With this in mind Sutsu limits each print design to a run of 50, so you can be assured the clothes are as individual as you are.

Sutsu Commitments Although we currently cannot provide all Sutsu garments as either Organic or Bamboo we are aiming to by the end of 2009. All our garments are made with consideration of our actions in respect of the environment and society. Therefore as this page explains we aim to make as little impact on the environment as possible but without comprimising either the style or quality of the garments. No matter how much we clean up our act, we are still polluters, we must account for this so to offer some positive response to this we give support to environmental groups close to our heart, currently Surfers Against Sewage and Surfriders Foundation. We aim to know the consequences of our actions. Much of the damage to the environment is done either unintentionally, through ignorance, or by willfully ignoring the chain of decisions that lead to bad results, therefore we aim to lead an examined life. |
Sutsu loves the Planet
We recognise that the planet has given us the cotton with which we make our clothes and so we feel it our duty to give something back. Wherever we can we will lessen our impact on this fragile environment, no big factories churning out gallons of fumes here. As many of the garments as possible are made from Organic Cotton and although the dye and inks are chemical based we will try to minimise wastage as much as we can. You won't find any small kids from some third world hell hole working in our establishment either, every item is hand printed here in the UK by our dedicated team. Oh and for every t-shirt sold we will give 5% of the price to Surfers Against Sewage and the Surfrider foundation, in turn putting something back into the environment.
